CURRENT SERMON SERIES
The weeks leading up to Easter are usually called “Lent.” That word has built up its own meaning in our minds that usually has to do with fasting, fish fries, or repentance. All of those have their own value and meaning, but the most important part of Lent is the story of Jesus on his journey to the cross. Each of the stories we will read during this season give us a glimpse of Christ’s life that are meant to help us in the journey of our own lives. They are discipleship stories. They are stories meant to help us face our own struggles, burdens, temptations - so that on the other side of the journey we come out looking more like Christ. That will be the focus of the next few weeks of lent. We will hear the stories of Jesus and allow them to shape our journey towards Him.

Over the last several years, there has been a group of pastors and lay people from different churches in Beaver County who are committed to the work of racial reconciliation. The world is full of division. But we believe that through Christ at work in us the "dividing walls of hostility" are brought down. We are made one in Christ Jesus.
